Problem Statement

Many existing activity apps require users to create an account before they can explore, making it difficult to casually discover or plan local experiences. These upfront barriers lead to user frustration and high drop-off rates—especially among those new to a city or looking for low-pressure, social-friendly activities. Our solution prioritizes guest access, simplified booking, and optional social connection to support both spontaneous and planned experiences.

 Guest browsing without sign-up barriers

 Streamlined booking with flexible rescheduling

Optional social sharing and invite features

→ WCAG AA accessible design

→ Mobile-first responsive design

The Challenge

Through our research, we identified three core problems that existing activity apps consistently failed to address

1

Discovery Frustration

Users struggled to find relevant activities based on their interests, location, and timing preferences.

2

Sign-Up Fatigue

Mandatory account creation before exploration discouraged casual users and increased drop-off rates.

3

Complex Interfaces

Cluttered designs and poor CTA visibility made navigation difficult and overwhelming for users.
